- Lead Business Intelligence Initiatives: Analyze market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity to uncover growth opportunities and mitigate risks, directly informing LTG’s strategic direction.
- Drive Strategic Market Growth: Support the development of long-term strategies by building a deep understanding of global market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitor market share.
- Own Pricing Strategy: Develop and maintain data-driven pricing models and frameworks to maximize profitability of LTG’s licensed products and services.
- Build Financial Models: Design consistent, cross-functional financial models to evaluate market potential, support go-to-market strategies, and inform product investment decisions.
- Conduct Profitability Analysis: Perform margin analysis and assess pricing programs—including discounting, bundling, and promotions—to support business performance and new product launches.
- Conduct Market Research: Lead both qualitative and quantitative market research to assess customer and partner needs, competitor positioning, and emerging trends across key market segments.
- Evaluate New Market Opportunities: Collaborate with LTG and MDx business units to identify, size, and prioritize adjacent or emerging market opportunities, supporting business case development and portfolio expansion.
- Develop Competitive Intelligence: Maintain a comprehensive view of the competitive landscape to guide product portfolio strategy and partner engagement.
- Leverage Internal & External Data: Analyze insights from CRM systems, surveys, sales data, and public sources to identify actionable threats and opportunities.
- Enable Strategic Decisions: Provide timely insights to cross-functional stakeholders including marketing, product, and strategy teams to shape roadmap and partner initiatives.
- Customer Segmentation & Personas: Segment the customer base and define personas to guide targeted marketing and sales enablement efforts.
- Expand Partner Ecosystem: Identify and evaluate high-impact B2B partners to grow LTG’s licensing network, enhance offerings, and open new revenue streams.
- Support Partner Development: Collaborate with the Global Partner Development team to assess and prioritize new partner opportunities in high-growth segments.
- Advance Market Development: Lead efforts in market development, partner engagement, and competitive positioning within priority global markets.
- Identify In-Licensing Opportunities: Scan the market, academic research, and industry networks to identify and evaluate innovative technologies for potential in-licensing to fuel LTG growth.
- Support Business Cases and Due Diligence: Build robust financial models to evaluate licensing terms, project ROI, and support technical, legal, and operational due diligence processes.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field required
- Master's Degree MBA or advanced degree
- 10+ Years Pricing, Market Research, Strategy, or Business Development
- 5+ Years Influencing cross functional teams
- Strong research, analytical, pricing and financial modeling, and data interpretation skills
- Strong market and competitive intelligence skills
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
- Strong cross-functional collaboration
- Experience collaborating across departments (e.g., R&D, Marketing, Finance)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Familiarity with licensing structures, market forecasting, and CRM tools
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- 25% Domestic and international travel
