Job Scope
The Director, Marketing Communication Servies is responsible for directing all on-market and demand generation activities within the Company for diagnostic products. Support applicable regulations including ISO, Local, State, and/or Federal requirements.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Work closely with the Product Management and Sales teams.
- Work with the Product Management team to develop effective packaging, advertising strategies, promotional campaigns, and promotional tools for diagnostic products inclusive of, but not limited to booth graphics, tradeshow booth design, promotional flyers, brochures, giveaways, catalogs, technical sheets, direct mail campaigns, PowerPoint presentations, etc. that serve to maximize LTG & Molecular exposure[MG1.1][MG1.2][SL1.3] to target markets and to generate quality sales leads.
- Manage the approval process for all external communications, customer-facing material
- Be responsible for creation and editing of marketing material (flyers, brochures, linkedin posts, website, sales tools, ..)
- Manage marketing campaigns and initiatives to ensure execution and distribution as per timelines
- Be responsible for distribution of marketing material on the different channels
- Lead and drive digital communication strategy
- Generare calanderized plans of activities and deliverables for the communication and promotion
- Closely work with product marketing (both IVD and LTG) to understand the needs and to obtain the communication content and messaging
- Work closely with Corporate Communication to ensure alignment and represent the needs of Diasorin and Luminex
- Be in charge of social media campaigns
- Be in charge of Tradeshows and Events strategy and execution
- Manage budget and monitor and report regularly actuals versus pla
- Generate meaningful KPIs, monitor and report metrics regularly
- Support internal communication initiatives (newsletters, town halls, HR initiatives)
- Manage suppliers
- Generate and manage yearly media plan
- Ensure compliance to procedures

Education, Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ Years Diagnostic Industry experience Required
- 5+ Years Marketing Communication field Required
- 5+ Years Tradeshows and Events Required
- 5+ Years Lead Marketing Communication department at Global level Required
- 5+ Years Management of medium or large marketing teams Required
Training and Skills
- Well-developed tactical and strategic experiences in marketing
- Strong marketing communication effectiveness
- Extensive knowledge of the molecular diagnostics market inclusive of products, competitors, technologies, and clients highly preferred
- Well-developed computer skills in Microsoft suite of products, Sales Force
- Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, develop and direct marketing team
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting and communicate across disciplines and across departments
- Demonstrated ability to discuss new product concepts and industry trends with Ph.D. and MD level contacts
- Comfortable working in leading and working within a high functioning, fast paced environment
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Excellent communication skills and presentation skills, both in group and one-one-one
- Ability to work effectively with teams from different functions and geography, flexibility to handle different time zones and cultural differences
