Job Scope

Lead US marketing strategy and execution for an assigned molecular testing portfolio, translating customer, clinical, and competitive insights into positioning, messaging, and integrated marketing programs that drive new customer demand, accelerate adoption, and increase assay utilization across key customer segments.

This role partners closely with Sales, Medical Affairs, Commercial Excellence, Digital Marketing, and Global teams to deliver measurable growth in the US clinical diagnostics market.

Job Responsibilities

US Portfolio Strategy + Positioning

  • Own US portfolio strategy for assigned assays and platforms, including customer segmentation,
    use-case prioritization, and competitive differentiation.
  • Develop and refine clear value messaging tied to clinical actionability, workflow realities, and
    economic impact (TAT, labor, downstream follow-up testing).
  • Align US strategy and deliverables with global stakeholders to ensure consistent, compliant
    messaging and coordinated execution.
  • Monitor and interpret leading and lagging indicators such as pipeline health, utilization, test
    volumes, revenue trends, pricing, and competitive share to anticipate direction and adjust
    strategy proactively

Market Insights + Voice of Customer

  • Lead on-market VOC activities to capture insights from laboratory leaders, microbiology,
    clinicians, stewardship committees, infection prevention, and procurement, translating
    feedback into actionable marketing direction and development of Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Monitor competitor positioning, product claims, and go-to-market activity, converting insights
    into field-ready tools and competitive messaging.
  • Analyze market data to quantify workflow constraints, send-out drivers, and utilization gaps
    that influence purchasing and testing behavior.

Demand Generation + Commercial Programs

  • Build and execute integrated marketing plans that drive new customer acquisition and growth
    within the installed base through campaigns, webinars, events, and targeted sales plays.
  • Analyze internal data, develop and deploy adoption initiatives that increase assay usage and
    reorder growth, with clear KPIs and performance tracking.
  • Support product launches and lifecycle programs with coordinated content, events strategy, and
    customer storytelling.

Sales Enablement + Field Readiness

  • Create sales enablement resources that improve rep confidence and performance, including:
    • messaging frameworks and talk tracks
    • objection handling and competitive battlecards
    • customer-facing presentations and executive summaries
    • training modules (microlearning / scenario-based)
      • Creates, updates, and presents training materials that support new‑hire onboarding and continuous
        enablement of the sales team, driving alignment on marketing strategy and product positioning.
      • Partner with Sales Leadership to drive consistent messaging adoption and strong execution
        across regions.

Evidence + Value Storytelling

  • Translate clinical workflows and evidence into simple, credible commercial messaging that
    supports customer decision-making.
  • Build value tools that support adoption conversations (workflow impact, labor constraints, TAT
    implications, economic value framing).
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs and compliance partners to ensure content accuracy and
    appropriate claims usage.

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Lead cross-functional execution across multiple workstreams with strong attention to quality,
    urgency, and alignment.
  • Serve as the US marketing owner for assigned portfolio priorities, ensuring deliverables move
    efficiently from concept to field deployment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support National and Regional Tradeshow events.

Success Metrics

  • Increased demand generation performance (lead capture, conversion, opportunity influence)
  • Growth in assay adoption, utilization, and reorder performance
  • Improved competitive conversion and new customer acquisition.
  • Increased field readiness and confidence (enablement adoption and feedback)
  • Strong customer engagement and measurable campaign performance

 

Education, Experience, and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or Marketing and more than 6 years related experience and/or training required
  • Master's Degree MBA and/or Professional Science Masters preferred
  • 5+ Years in product marketing or commercialization within diagnostic testing, clinical
    diagnostics, or lab-focused healthcare or equivalent selling experience. required
  • Proven experience developing and executing marketing programs that drive measurable growth
  • Strong ability to translate complex data and information into clear messaging and practical field tools
  • Cross-functional leadership skills and ability to influence without authority
  • Strong analytical skills with comfort using insights and performance data to guide decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to convey ideas and information with clarity and influence to diverse audiences
  • Efficiency with MS tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot

 

Travel Requirements

  • Travel may be required at least 40% of the time

The hiring range for this position is $133,043 - $164,348  annually. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. Beyond base salary, Diasorin offers a competitive rewards package focused on your overall well-being.
