Job Scope

Responsible for helping establish and execute strategic and tactical plans for supporting business needs and driving continuous improvement by managing programs and/or individual projects, improving business processes and helping lead integration and harmonization initiatives with corporate and other sites

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Help establish and execute strategic and tactical plans across functions and sites to drive improvement to near term KPI’s and long-term vision

  • Partners with functional leads and stakeholders to gain insight, buy-in, support, define, implement, monitor and maintain organization-wide projects including the management of project scope, schedule, resources, costs and development partner agreements

  • Provide clear expectations of strategic and tactical plans to teams to achieve safety, quality, cultural, customer delivery and cost Key Performance Indicators.

  • Interface effectively with multiple levels within organization. Organize data from multiple sources, extracting key information and writing technical reports with executive summaries

  • Organizes and leads prioritization meetings across functions, surfacing issues and/or resource constraints and facilitates decisions

  • Harmonize across global sites and develop further methods to optimize results

  • Use existing tools and help establish improved tools where necessary to optimize planning, prioritization, execution, results and KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators)

  • Thrive by coordinating with cross functional teams

  • Harmonize across global sites and develop further methods to optimize results

  • Assist core team members to remove obstacles to meet expectations

  • Promote an environment of trust, cross functional collaboration and ethical behaviors

  • Promote open channels of communication throughout the organization

  • Actively participate in team meetings and embrace strong communication across the organization with clear actions, persistent follow-through and decision making

  • Develop teams to be engaged, motivated, knowledgeable and accountable to achieve results

  • Help core team members of projects by providing clear goals, expectations, effective tools, organized file structure and consistent clear communication to streamline execution and ensure awareness at various levels

  • Understand and utilize documentation necessary for regulatory compliance

  • Understand and maintain formal training compliance within time requirements

  • Follow DiaSorin’s established compliance procedures and support audits, documentation updates in compliance with OSHA, EPA, NRC and FDA

  • Perform work in a safe manner consistent with DiaSorin’s health, safety and environmental policies and assume responsibility for self and others to drive a safe workplace

  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Education, Experience, and  Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In business or engineering discipline required
  • 5+ Years strong project / program management background managing business, Lean and technical projects, preferably within the medical operations industry or other regulated business required

  • Strong structured Lean or Sig Sigma experience, preferably having earned certifications required

  • Robust analytical experience with labor content, capacity modeling and financial assessment required
  • High competency with preparing and presenting presentations and proposals (High proficiency)

  • Ability to facilitate meetings, ask the right questions, problem solve, drive decisions and plans (High proficiency)

  • Interpersonal skills such to gather and share information while putting others at ease (High proficiency)

  • Advanced oral and written communication skills, ability to report-out to Executive leadership (High proficiency)

  • Ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships (High proficiency)

  • Advanced computer systems skills such as MRP, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project (High proficiency)

  • Ability to maintain accurate records with a high level of initiative and attention to detail (High proficiency)

  • Solid judgment with ability to make good decisions (High proficiency)

  • Familiarity with Project Management principles desirable. (High proficiency)

  • Knowledge of and ability to follow ISO 9001 and 13485 and 21 CFR 820 guidelines and practices (Low proficiency)

  • Familiarity with Design Control principles desirable. (Low proficiency)
  • 10% Occasional domestic and international travel is required
