Job Scope
You will provide an important role in ensuring ongoing high-quality support to our customers across Barcelona area focused on delivering excellent customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, your role will be to deliver support and training on DiaSorin assays and analyzers in customer laboratories. You will work closely with the Sales team in promoting and implementing new systems. You will support the effective launch of new assays and provide pre/post marketing support. The person should reside in the territory.
Desempeñarás un papel clave en garantizar un soporte continuo y de alta calidad a nuestros clientes en el área de Barcelona, con un fuerte enfoque en la excelencia y la satisfacción del cliente. Reportando al/la Regional Sales Manager, serás responsable de proporcionar soporte técnico y formación sobre los ensayos y analizadores de DiaSorin en los laboratorios de nuestros clientes. Trabajarás en estrecha colaboración con el equipo Comercial para promover e implementar nuevos sistemas. Asimismo, apoyarás el lanzamiento eficaz de nuevos ensayos y proporcionarás soporte tanto en la fase previa como posterior al lanzamiento. La persona seleccionada debe residir en el territorio asignado.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Be an integral part of the sales cycle and provide support to the Sales Specialist in order to maximize retention of business and support future growth.
- Have a clear understanding of the market; develop market insight into customer needs, tender processes, commercial projects and competition.
- Provide customer presentations and demonstrations of analytical solutions.
- Complete technical responses for tenders in a timely manner.
- Exhibition attendance, assay promotion and menu expansion activities.
- Actively participate in sales meetings, marketing meetings and business meetings.
- Manage customer complaints and enquiries using the CALLS management system ensuring effective communications with the customer at all times while liaising with the Customer Support team.
- Proactive in the implementation and planning process for new customers and products.
- Provide on-site and residential customer training.
- Assume responsibility for market mapping, KOL relationship development and product promotion of a defined product/product family.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Formar parte integral del ciclo de ventas y proporcionar apoyo al/la Sales Specialist con el fin de maximizar la retención de negocio y apoyar el crecimiento futuro.
- Tener un claro conocimiento del mercado; desarrollar una visión del mercado en relación con las necesidades de los clientes, procesos de licitación, proyectos comerciales y la competencia.
- Realizar presentaciones y demostraciones a clientes de soluciones analíticas.
- Completar de forma puntual las respuestas técnicas a licitaciones.
- Participar en ferias y exposiciones, así como en actividades de promoción de ensayos y ampliación del menú.
- Participar activamente en reuniones de ventas, marketing y negocio.
- Gestionar reclamaciones y consultas de clientes utilizando el sistema de gestión CALLS, asegurando una comunicación eficaz en todo momento y colaborando con el equipo de Customer Support.
- Actuar de forma proactiva en la planificación e implementación de nuevos clientes y productos.
- Proporcionar formación a clientes tanto in situ como en modalidad residencial.
- Asumir la responsabilidad del mapeo de mercado, el desarrollo de relaciones con KOLs (líderes de opinión clave) y la promoción de productos de una línea o familia de productos definida.
- Realizar otras tareas que le sean asignadas.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
- Ideally hold a bachelor degree or higher in a life science.
- The ideal candidate will be proactive, flexible and self motivated within the role, positively contributing to the comercial. You should be able to demonstrate excellent time and calendar management. The ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally. Have the ability to cope under pressure and respond appropriately to unexpected situations and manage customer expectations.
- Experience in the market is essential with a product specialist and/or a customer support role in this or a similar market preferable.
- Sales and marketing experience within the immunodiagnostic market is desirable however an apptitude to learn and progress in these areas will be looked upon favourably.
- Computer literate and hold a valid drivers license
- Must be fluent in Spanish and good level of English both verbal and written
- Extensive travel is required, this will include attending both Spanish and International meetings.
- Occasional travel at night and weekends may be required.
- Preferiblemente titulación universitaria (grado o superior) en Ciencias de la Vida.
- El/La candidato/a ideal será proactivo/a, flexible y autónomo/a, contribuyendo positivamente a los objetivos comerciales. Deberá demostrar una excelente capacidad de gestión del tiempo y de la agenda, así como habilidades de comunicación a todos los niveles, tanto internos como externos. Capacidad para trabajar bajo presión, responder adecuadamente a situaciones imprevistas y gestionar las expectativas del cliente.
- Es esencial contar con experiencia en el mercado, siendo deseable experiencia previa como especialista de producto y/o en un puesto de soporte al cliente en este u otro mercado similar.
- Se valorará experiencia en ventas y marketing en el mercado de inmunodiagnóstico; no obstante, una clara aptitud para aprender y desarrollarse en estas áreas será considerada positivamente.
- Conocimientos informáticos a nivel usuario y carné de conducir en vigor.
- Dominio del español y buen nivel de inglés, tanto oral como escrito.
- Se requiere una alta disponibilidad para viajar, incluyendo la asistencia a reuniones tanto a nivel nacional como internacional.
- Ocasionalmente podrá requerirse viajar en horario nocturno y/o durante fines de semana.
