Job Purpose:

 

In this role, you will be responsible for maximising growth in sales and profitability within your area.  This will involve: implementing sales plans, monitoring growth and performance to surpass set objectives and establishing and maintaining excellent customer relationships.  To be successful, you need to have previous sales experience within our industry as well as demonstrate a strong drive for success. 

 

Region: 

 

This role will cover the following areas: East Midlands, North West of England, Shropshire, Leicestershire and from Manchester / Liverpool to Leeds / Hull. 

 

Main Responsibilities: 

 

  • To identify opportunities within the designated sales area for Diasorin products and utilise tactical sales plans in accordance with Diasorin sales strategies, to maximise revenue, profit and Company image.
  • To represent the Company and its products to customers, within the Diasorin code of ethics, to enhance the Company image.
  • To provide realistic forecasts for your area to the Sales Management team to ensure continuity or product supply.
  • To provide first level customer support and liaise with customer care and the orders department to ensure the highest level of customer service.
  • To represent the Company at exhibitions and symposia to enhance Company Image.
  • Administrative tasks: Quotations, FOC forms, Monthly report for area, UK pricelist, Expenses to be completed within set time frames. Updating CRM daily. Providing the marketing team with all relevant data in specified time frame.
  • To aim to exceed sales targets.
  • To utilise all members of the Diasorin team.

 

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry 

 

Experience:

  • Previous sales experience within our industry
  • Previous scientifc experience 

 

Skills:

  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Self motivated, driven and proactive.
  • Ability to cope with unexpected situations.
  • Ability to analyse and utilise information provided as useful sales tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Induction and product training will be provided.  

 

 

Travel Availability:

 

  • As this is a customer facing role, this will involve extensive travel within your own region as well as some travel outside of your designated area, as and when required.
