Mission: 

In this role you will have the opportunity to learn and participate in a number of manufactuirng activities including preparation, filling, packing and microplates. 

Responsibilities:

1.      The following manufacturing activities can be part of the overall role

·        Manufacture and filtration of bulk reagents including adjustments based on performance feedback from the QC department.

·        Preparation of equipment and utensils involved in product manufacture (cleaning and sterilisation).

·        Preparation of solid phase components used within in vitro diagnostic products (ELISA/CLIA).

·        Operation of filling lines to produce filled material or supporting technicians with filling runs.

·        Perform routine maintenance and verification of equipment used within production.

·        Participating in the assembly and packing of finished products. 

2.      To complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner highlighting issues to line manager as soon as they occur.

3.      Use the quality management system to ensure compliance to procedures including supporting line manager in conducting periodic reviews and performing updates where necessary.

4.      Comply will all company procedures governing the role including quality documents, HR and EHS policies.

5.      Contribute to site approved projects to ensure their timely completion.

6.      Assist with validation/qualification activities of new equipment/processes.

7.      Work with technical department to complete investigation testing when required.

8.      Maintain adequate supply of standards and reference components.

9.      Maintain a sufficient supply of stock inventory to ensure deadlines are met and ensuring inventory transactions are completed both accurately and in a timely manner. 

10.   Deputise for line manager during periods of leave/absence.

11.   Approach the role in a flexible manner, and be prepared to adapt to requirements outside of the immediate role that are essential to the organisation.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge    

1.     Science based educated or relevant experience desirable 

2.      Knowledge of one or more manufacturing processes

3.      Good interpersonal and communication skills

4.      The ability to adapt to change in priority

5.      Good numeracy skills

6.      Willing to learn new skills in order to support Manufacturing needs
