Application Specialist (f/m/d)

Field service for the Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland region

Main tasks

  • Preparation and implementation of customer training on Diasorin systems
  • Carrying out device demonstrations
  • Application of new test procedures for existing customers
  • Technical supervision and support of the sales department regarding the processing of Diasorin and third-party assays on Diasorin device platforms
  • Integration of Diasorin systems into the laboratory organisation
  • Responsibility for the smooth workflow of the systems
  • Routine customer visits, customer analysis, creation of workflows and presentation to the customer
  • Competition monitoring and documentation of competitive activities
  • Examining new market opportunities
  • Active communication with sales, technology and customer service
  • Carrying out validations and comparative measurements in-house and in the customer laboratory

Education

Completed training in the medical-technical field (MTA) or comparable professional training

Professional experience

Depending on training, at least 2 years of professional experience, including relevant experience with corresponding devices/fully automated medical laboratory diagnostics, ideally Diasorin systems, experience in the field of immunology (ELISA, molecular, CLIA technology)

Further knowledge and skills

  • High social competence (written and oral communication skills both internally and externally, active listening, openness, cooperative working style, ability to work in a team and ability to take criticism)
  • Confident and convincing demeanour
  • Successful project and quality management experience
  • Good technical understanding
  • Strong ability to organise, prioritise and structure tasks and topics and a high degree of diligence and reliability
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel, Power Point and Word), sound knowledge of Sales Force
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
  • Willingness to travel extensively with regular overnight stays also outside the assigned area of care and valid class B driving licence
