Job Objective

Seamless integration of Diasorin systems into routine operations at customer sites within a defined area

 

Main Tasks

  • Ensuring the smooth routine operation of Diasorin instruments and tests at customer sites through initial training and integration into the customer’s workflow, followed by ongoing support for operating personnel and the further development of the customer’s workflows and production processes
  • Supporting the sales team in developing and presenting concepts and proposals, as well as conducting equipment demonstrations
  • Conducting customer training on-site or centrally at the DSD training laboratory (ACT)
  • Supporting customers and DS Customer Service in recording, processing, and resolving complaints (CallsEvo)
  • Monitoring the competition and assisting in the evaluation of market opportunities
  • Participating in trade shows and events, as well as internal training sessions and meetings; in exceptional cases, also on weekends
  • Documenting visits, customer contacts, and other activities in CRM systems or other reporting tools (Salesforce Service)
  • Product Support – Non-Instrument-Related Troubleshooting
  • Assay-related topics (e.g., deviations in test results, reproducibility issues, sensitivity/specificity concerns)
  • Quality control (QC) and calibration issues, including trend analysis and interpretation of QC data
  • Reagent and kit-related observations (e.g., lot-to-lot variation, storage conditions, handling practices)
  • Collaborating on the application of applicable legal and corporate guidelines, medical device safety, the quality management system, and guidelines for sustainable business practices within the area of responsibility
  • Additional/other tasks that are reasonable within the scope of the position’s qualifications

 

Education

Completed apprenticeship in the medical technology field (e.g. Medical Technologist for Laboratory Analysis) or comparable educational background

Professional Experience

Depending on your educational background, at least 2 years of professional experience, including relevant experience in operating medical laboratory diagnostic equipment/automated systems—ideally Diasorin systems—as well as experience in immunology (ELISA, CLIA technology) and molecular diagnostics

  • Good technical understanding
  • High sense of responsibility
  • Proficiency with PCs and MS 365, and ideally knowledge of Salesforce
  • Business-level proficiency in written and spoken Czech and advanced basic proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including regular overnight stays outside the assigned service area, and a valid driver’s license
