Job Title

System Specialist (Field Service Engineer)

Location

Rosh Haayin – Israel -  approximately 80% of the time dedicated to performing work at the customers' sites around the country.

 

 

Job Objective

A Field Service Engineer for Analytical/Laboratory Equipment is responsible for performing preventive or breakdown maintenance activities for this equipment. 

 

 

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Installing new equipment
  • Performing functionality tests
  • Repairing faults
  • Performing routine maintenance
  • Training customers
  • Performing repairs and routine maintenance on analytical/laboratory equipment according to company guidelines and instructions, in accordance with additional or other safety guidelines.
  • Most of the activity takes place at the customers' sites around the country, in hospitals or central laboratories.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Education

  • Graduate of an engineering degree in the fields of biomedical engineering, mechanics, or electronics, with a certification from a recognized institution in Israel or abroad.
  • Biomedical engineer - Advantage.
  • Certified computer technician or with a similar background - Advantage

 

Professional experience

 

  • Significant understanding of computer science and proven ability.
  • Proven work experience of at least two years with customers in the field of medical/analytical equipment in Israel.

 

Knowledge and skills

  • Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships and interpersonal skills as part of teamwork.
  • Ability to cope with pressure.
  • Ability to learn complex topics quickly.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel abroad from time to time.
  • High level of English (ability to learn professional material in English) - mandatory.
