Job Objective

Increase sales and profits in a defined territory

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on the preparation and presentation of various projects agreed upon with the Country Manager, highlighting the advantages of the offered system compared to the competition.
  • Preparing analyses of new market opportunities and drafting technical reports that enable the definition of the sales strategy to be pursued.
  • Analyzing the characteristics of individual customers (public and private) with a view to introducing new products and expanding the product lines offered.
  • Developing current and potential sales opportunities within the country for the Molecular and Liaison XL/LAS product lines to maximize revenue, profit, and corporate image in accordance with the strategy agreed upon with the Country Manager and Global Molecular
  • Preparing the annual plan and budget targets for sales and marketing activities
  • Establishing and maintaining close working relationships with key customers, opinion leaders, and decision-makers to support current and future product goals
  • Preparation of reports, quotes, literature requests, FOC forms, forecast lists, and
  • Maintain constant close contact with the country’s field sales team
  • Identify solutions to any issues by involving the relevant organizational units (Marketing, Clinical Monitoring, Customer System Support, Customer Service, etc.)
  • Coordinate all product-related activities—regulatory, scientific, marketing, automation, and supply chain quality—at the regional level.
  • Generates and increases customer demand through communication activities at the hospital clinic with key Diasorin representatives.
  • Attends national and international scientific conferences attended by customers as needed.
  • Installation, upgrades, service, and maintenance of molecular and compound devices and systems in accordance with technical documentation.

 

Education

Degree in biology or chemistry

Professional Experience

At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of molecular diagnostics as a sales representative or application specialist at the country level in diagnostics or biotech companies Previous experience in molecular biology or microbiology laboratories is required

Additional Knowledge and Skills

  • Proven technical knowledge in the field of molecular biology
  • Proven skills in sales and negotiation
  • A structured approach to analyzing market data and defining goals
  • Flexibility and ability to collaborate with various business units and key internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills and experience in training
  • Personal motivation to drive the successful development of NAT products
  • Strong service orientation and customer focus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good communication skills
  • Operational responsibility for implementing the sales and marketing action plan for NAT products
  • Knowledge of laboratory processes
  • Familiarity with the interface between software applications and instrument platforms
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Basic Knowledge French
