YOUR MISSION

The Field Service Specialist (FSS) interacts with customers to solve technical problems and identify areas to improve their work, performs customer installs, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a variety of instruments in assigned territory.

YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS

We’re looking for a Field Service Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to build relationships with key clients while solving critical problems. The role will provide support to customers with instrument maintenance, calibration, instrument troubleshooting and repair on capital equipment.

• Provide onsite installation of instruments, upgrades, updates, repairs, and preventative maintenance service.
• Install the methodologies on the instrumentation at customer´s premises and guarantee customer follow-up for technical/application problems
• Participate in training processes that are designed to develop a highly skilled workforce capable of delivering results consistent with corporate goals and objectives
• Understand and utilize documentation protocols and accurately and legibly complete all documentation on time to result in a product/process history consistent with the company requirements
• Perform and document calibration and preventative maintenance needed to result in equipment that is in good working condition, in accordance with corporate policies and in compliance with our procedures
• Provide remote support for clients
• Handle spare parts according to our policy: ordering, usage, returns, physical count, etc. 
• Train the end-use in the basic knowledge of ours instruments.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technician Degree in Electrical/Mechanics.
• Experience: Prior experience in Medical Devices companies.
• Languages: Technical English.
• Travel availability: Yes, more than 75% of the time.
