In close coordination with internal teams, the Corporate Commercial Excellence & Pricing Manager - Europe and Italy manages the development and execution of pricing programs into the two regions (Europe and Israel, as well as Italy) to optimize our pricing strategies ensuring they are aligned with market dynamics and customer demands. He/She oversees the identification of pricing opportunities and risks, enabling the organization to make informed and data-driven decisions.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

 

Collaborating closely with the Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Finance, Logistics, and Legal teams to ensure the achievement of the following objectives:

 

PRICING STRATEGY:

  • Analyze European market conditions, competitor pricing, and customer needs to propose optimal pricing levels.
  • Monitor market trends and make proposal recommendations for pricing adjustments as necessary.

COMMERCIAL AGREEMENT:

  • Design and create commercial agreement templates that effectively address market conditions and protect the company's interests for the European regions.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Business Development teams to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the European space.
  • Continuously review and update agreement templates to reflect changes in market conditions and business practices.

BEST PRACTICE LOGISTICS:

  • Collaborate with the Logistics team and other stakeholders to optimize our value proposition through    efficient and effective supply chain management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the logistics function.
  • Streamline logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

NEGOTIATION AND SELLING SKILLS TRAINING:

  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance negotiation and selling skills within the European Sales team.
  • Provide coaching and support to European sales representatives to improve their ability to negotiate and close deals.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into training programs.

 

 

COMPLIANCE TOOLS:

  • Develop and implement effective compliance tools to monitor and evaluate the value proposition of our products and services for the European Regions.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Finance teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Regularly review and update compliance tools to reflect changes in applicable regulations.

 

Education, Experience, and Qualifications 

 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred with data analytics courses.
  • Experience:  Proven experience (minimum 7 years) in commercial controlling roles in an international context of the health care and sciences industry or in large size industries. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Proficiency in using pricing analytics tools and software
  • Strong competencies in pricing topic and industry landscape
  • PC Command (Excel, PPT, Salesforce)
  • Big data management  
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing commercial tools, technologies
  • Business know-how, a deep understanding of the commercial landscape
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Languages: Fluent spoken and written English. Fluent spoken and written Italian
  • Travel availability: Yes
