Job Scope
The Corporate IT Business Applications Manager - HR is responsible for the design, implementation and operations management of HR applications.
This position is operationally responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, performance and security for the company HR Applications.
Collaborating with the IT Department and the main HR business stakeholders to ensure the HR applications portfolio is consistent both with the business goals and the company IT Strategy.
This role will manage a team of application and development specialists and will be responsible for developing an applications portfolio roadmap to meet future business needs.
Enabling the HR Applications Strategy for the company bringing valuable contribution in terms of profitability, competitiveness and innovation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Strategy:
- Partnering with IT department and HR Management to lead the applications strategy and execution for the enterprise
- Providing overall technology Vision, roadmap and direction for the full suite of HR applications.
- Ensuring that all development and maintenance project outcomes align with strategic business goals.
- Ensuring that all HR application designs align with enterprise architectural standards.
Execution:
- Managing HRIS digitalization strategy execution in alignment with IT and HR Management.
- Providing leadership in the entire HR applications lifecycle management including application support management and project management related to HRMS roadmap.
- Providing oversight in aspects of applications requirements, deployment development and application maintenance.
- Contributing in all aspects to the HR applications selection and Implementation.
- Monitoring and leading the Application Maintenance process and external Managed Service Teams.
- Guiding, training, and providing documentation to the HR Department.
- Ensure IT policies for Change management and security are enforced in HR applications.
Innovation:
- Working closely with and manage strategic HRMS vendor partner relationships.
- Staying at the forefront of new technologies and techniques relating to application development
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
Education: Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration or related disciplines.
Specialization: preferred certifications: SuccessFactors certifications or other HR/HRIS/IT certifications
Experience: 5–10 years of experience in Human Resources Business Applications. Experience in managing HR systems and leading complex HR projects. 3+ years of SuccessFactors working knowledge.
Technical Competencies/know-How:
- Project Management experience and/or certifications
- HR experience and/or certifications a plus
- IT certifications in ITIL or ITSM a plus
