Job Scope
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically minded Market Intelligence Analyst to support our competitive and market insight activities. This entry-level position is ideal for a candidate with a strong aptitude for research, data management, and Excel-based analysis, who is eager to develop expertise in market intelligence, acquire knowledge of the In Vitro Diagnostic market, and financial analysis.
The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring competitor activity, aggregating market data, and building insightful dashboards to inform strategic decisions across the company.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Competitive Intelligence:
- Research and track competitors using public sources, press releases, regulatory filings, websites, and dedicated market intelligence databases.
- Summarize key developments and trends relevant to company strategy and product performance.
- Market Data Aggregation:
- Gather, consolidate, and maintain market data received from third-party providers.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and timely updates across all datasets.
- Dashboard Development & Distribution:
- Design and maintain dashboards summarizing market and competitor insights for internal distribution.
- Automate data refresh processes and ensure dashboards remain accurate and user-friendly.
- Financial & Market Analysis:
- Contribute to periodic performance and benchmarking reports.
- Use of AI & Digital Tools:
- Apply AI and digital research tools to streamline data collection, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance the quality of insights.
- Internal Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure intelligence outputs are aligned with business priorities.
- Distribute findings through regular reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc presentations.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Technical Competencies:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data cleaning, macros preferred).
Experience with online research tools, databases, and data aggregation.
Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, data extraction assistants) to support research and reporting.
(Optional) Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio is a plus.
Skills:
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
Strong written communication skills and ability to synthesize complex information clearly.
Curious, proactive, and able to work independently.
Languages:
Fluent spoken and written English.
Travel availability:
Open to travel abroad if needed (not more than 10% of time)
