Job Scope

We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer focused and analytically minded Workflow Specialist to strengthen our IVD instrumentation and software . This entry-level role is ideal for a candidate with a strong aptitude for mapping lab processes, pinpointing bottlenecks, and suggesting practical workflow optimizations that improve TAT, reduce manual steps, and enhance instrumentation and software utilization.

The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing key workflow studiesdefining key value drivers for customers, and translating operational laboratory needs into datadriven, scalable solutions to support marketing messaging development for current and new company solutions.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Customer Workflow Efficiencies:
    • Evaluate customer workflows, assess integration of company solutions, identify segment-specific needs and benchmark the laboratory landscape leveraging Lean and SWOT methodologies.
    • Develop and coordinate protocols to customer pilot studies to assess new workflow solutions.
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators:
    • Identify systematic metrics to measure workflow benefits and integrate findings into the global value-selling strategy.
    • Work in coordination with key technical team members to develop selling tools
  • Collaborate Internally & Globally:
    • Work with Product Development and Marketing Product Managers to translate benefits and integrate findings into a global value-selling strategy.
    • Distribute findings through regular reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc presentations.
  • Internal Collaboration:
    • Work closely with marketing, finance, and product development teams to ensure intelligence outputs are aligned with business priorities.

 

Education, Experience, and Qualifications  

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.

Experience: 3+ years in laboratory operations, workflow optimization, or medical device marketing; strong knowledge of IVD immunodiagnostic processes, instrumentation and services.

 

 Skills:

Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma and workflow analysis; familiarity with competitor landscape and value-based selling; excellent communication and global project management skills; training experience is an asset.

 

Languages:

English proficiency required; Italian is preferred.

 

Travel availability:

Open to travel abroad if needed (up to 60% of time)
