Job Scope

The National Sales Director is a high-level executive tasked with the job of leading the organisation through the commercial landscape. This means overseeing product development, identifying new market opportunities, and directing marketing operations. National Sales Director is therefore responsible for reaching out to new clients and advising upper management about new markets to explore in the region.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare yearly sales plan and operational budget for responsible Territories and customers to existing and new dealers, report to President of Diasorin China for approval;
  • Qualify new distributors for Diasorin business and report to President of Diasorin China for approval
  • Develop new businesses and new customers in line with the level of profitability requested for the subsidiary
  • Drive the Sales organization to achieve sales growth and margin goals on monthly basis.
  • Implement appropriate matrixes to ensure discipline in achieving set of KPI's (Revenue per Box, Instrument PA's, Time to Test of Record, Turning Prospects into Customers, installations). Follow up on these KPI's in order to asses the performance of individual members of the Sales organization. Manage the prospect bank and achieve planned NEW business XL placements.
  • Grow our business presence in identified geographical areas as well as in identified products lines as per LTP.
  • Connect with identified KOL's and key accounts and manage their flawless engagement with our educational and product positioning activities.
  • Manage and grow the network of our dealers, set the business goals, asses their performance regularly and suggest the actions to address their further growth, or, in case of unsatisfactory performance, their termination.
  • Ensure CRM implementation and Sales' team's frequent usage for sales management activities.
  • Assist President of Diasorin China in managing relationship with big GPO companies and ICL partners.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications

  Education / Specialization:

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Master’s in business administration or economics is a plus

Experience:

  • 15+ years working experience in multinational companies
  • 5+ years professional experience as Sales head in the major International IVD company
  • Solid commercial experience with a desirable background in marketing
  • Experience of team leadership and ability to lead and drive teams

 

Technical Competencies:

  • An expert understanding of the field of Clinical Diagnostics and Immunoassays
  • Good market knowledge of the geography covered by the position
  • Strong understanding of customer and markets dynamic
  • Ability to translate business strategic directions into pragmatic action plans
  • Monitor performance and acts consistently with planned actions

 

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong ethics and accountability
  • Accountability and Compliance

 

Languages: Local language, English is a plus

 

 

Travel availability: >80% travelling is required within responsible territory
