Job Scope

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible to successfully manage the distributors and sales partners in the assigned territory and ensures continuous growth levels and maximum market penetration is achieved in line with company group goals and targets. The Regional Sales Manager liaises with the key internal Company referees to ensure full service is provided to the distributors and sales partners in due time and proactively.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Organize and coordinate the activities of the actual distributors/customers in the assigned sales territory with the objective of achieving the sales targets and the proceeds set within the budget.
- Plan and actively search for potential new distributors/customers in the geographical area of responsibility in the view of building profitable new distribution/customers agreements in line with the company’s strategic guidelines set for the management of distributors/customers
- Maintain regular contact with distributors/customers within the area of responsibility. Field visits to meet with distributors/customers is required
- Negotiate distribution/customer contracts in conjunction with management team
- Ensures the debts collection to guarantee the respect of the payment terms (DSO)
- Alert finance department on any financial related issues with distributors/customers
- Cooperates with the Product Care Area to manage customer claims
- Liaises with both distributor, customers and marketing team to design and implement local promotional activities to support annual sales targets in the territory
- Follows, in cooperation with Marketing, the needed activities for the commercial launch of the new products produced by the production sites
- Provide sales training or product training to local sales partners as a cascading of the Corporate Product Training
- Acts in full compliance with Diasorin Code of Conduct and Company Policies and guidelines
- Provide to the management team the related data referring to:
- the preparation of annual budgets and sales forecasts
- compilation of market research for new products
- the general administration duties related to all aspects of the assigned territory including submission of monthly report and trip reports to the line manage
- Others assigned by the Company
Education, Experience, and Qualifications

Education / Specialization:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, business management or relative major
- MBA will be a plus
Experience:
- 10+ years working experience in multinational companies
- 5+ years professional experience in the Health Care Sector in a sales manager role (experience in the healthcare/diagnostic sector and experience in selling through a distributor/direct network is an advantage) in the local market
- A technical background experience in the diagnostics sector is a preferential title
