Key Duties and Responsibilities
Market Access Strategy- Develop and implement U.S. market access strategies for new and existing diagnostic products.
- Identify market access barriers and design mitigation plans.
- Assess coding, coverage, and payment pathways for diagnostic tests (e.g., CPT, PLA codes).
Payer Engagement
- Lead engagements with commercial/private payers, Medicare contractors (MACs), Medicaid agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare dossiers, value propositions, and evidence summaries tailored for payer needs.
Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR)
- Guide the development of economic models (e.g., cost-effectiveness, budget impact) and real-world evidence (RWE) studies.
- Partner with Clinical and Medical teams to align clinical evidence generation with reimbursement needs.
Reimbursement and Coding
- Lead or support applications for CPT codes (Category I/III, PLA), NCD/LCD submissions, and pricing negotiations.
- Monitor policy changes affecting diagnostics and translate into business strategy.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with R&D, Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Regulatory to ensure alignment on access strategy.
- Support customer discussions on reimbursement or health economic outcomes.
- Support Sales and Marketing teams with training and tools to address reimbursement challenges, healthcare economic analysis and modeling.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required and
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MPH, PhD, PharmD) strongly preferred.
- 8–12+ years of experience in market access, reimbursement, or health economics, preferably in diagnostics or medical devices.
- Deep understanding of the U.S. healthcare system, reimbursement processes, and payer decision-making for diagnostics.
- Proven track record of securing coverage and reimbursement for diagnostic products.
- Experience with coding strategy (e.g., PLA, CPT), CMS policies, and payer evidence requirements.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences, including senior management and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and lead in a matrixed environment
- Willingness to travel as needed to support market development initiatives and customer engagement efforts.
- Experience with molecular diagnostics, companion diagnostics, or lab-developed tests (LDTs). Prior involvement in launch planning and evidence generation for novel diagnostics.
- Understanding of laboratory operations and clinical workflow integration.

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $177,840 - $217,360 Annually. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. Beyond base salary, Diasorin offers a competitive rewards package focused on your overall well-being.
