Job Scope
This position develops and executes the enterprise account strategy and actions for large, multi-state Integrated health networks that are members of National/Regional Group Purchasing organizations. Additionally, is responsible for calling on “C” and “VP” level executives in healthcare administration and purchasing departments for the purpose of negotiating enterprise contracts with health system networks to drive profitable growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Actively develop and lead the Enterprise IDN/GPO sales strategy and tactics to achieve commercial growth within assigned accounts.
- Develop, negotiate, implement and evaluate contracted agreements with strategic IHN accounts.
- Collaborate with legal and sales management on contract launches and contract compliance.
- Monitor and evaluate contractual compliance and financial performance.
- Design and lead contract pull-through activities.
- Lead and coordinate efforts in the development and expansion of new and existing business relationships.
- Interpret and communicate strategic IHN information to the sales area and senior management.
- Recommend and implement strategies to address and/or respond to competition.
- Monitor and communicate critical healthcare trends in the marketplace.

Education, Experience and Qualifications
- Bachlor's degree in Business or Life Sciences
- A minimum of 5 year experience with a successful track record of prospecting, negotiating and executing strategic contracts in the healthcare, diagnostics, or pharmaceutical industry
- Ability to comprehend and articulate the value proposition of new medical technology as it improves patient outcomes
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on, highly motivated and able to work in an unstructured environment
- Strong communicator with executive presence
- Advanced Mathematical/calculation skills
Standard Physical Conditions
- Travel: up to 70%
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Sitting and repetitive hand, arm, shoulder movements
