 Job Scope

The Regional Director, POC Channel Development (Non-Acute) will lead the region’s growth strategy for Diasorin’s CLIA-waived non-acute POC portfolio. This critical commercial leadership role is responsible for leading and executing the go-to-market strategy across the region’s POC channels, driving sales goal achievement and market share growth, and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver business results. The incumbent will serve as the voice of the region into Corporate Commercial and collaborate with senior leadership across Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Regulatory, and R&D to ensure the region’s success. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Strategic Leadership & Regional Planning 

  • Implement the regional POC non-acute channel strategy (POL, urgent care, retail health, pharmacy) aligned with North America commercial objectives. 
  • Develop and lead short-term sales strategies to achieve annual revenue, growth, market share, and profitability targets for the region; monitor and adjust plans as needed. 
  • Perform market segmentation, customer/channel mapping, competitive intelligence, and identify growth opportunities and risks. 
  • Lead the region’s business review cadence (quarterly business reviews, forecasting, pipeline management) and present to senior leadership. 

Go-to-Market & Commercial Execution 

  • Execute and lead the AE team in the regional launch of new POC products or assays in non-acute channels, in concert with Marketing, Market Access, Regulatory and other internal partners. 
  • Ensure marketing campaigns, collateral, promotional activities and events in the region are properly executed and optimized for local market dynamics. 

Cross-Functional Integration & Team Leadership 

  • Lead and develop a high-performing regional team. Mentor/direct reports and help build bench strength.  Ensure proper and thorough onboarding, training, and performance management. 
  • Act as the regional cross-functional liaison: Work with the appropriate internal team members to ensure efficient processes, deadlines are met, customer feedback is escalated, pricing strategies are having the right effect, etc.  
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation and customer-centricity aligned with Diasorin’s core values. 

Customer & Market Focus 

  • Deeply understand the non-acute POC ecosystem (POLs, urgent care, retail health, pharmacy) including customer workflows, buying behaviors, key decision makers and reimbursement dynamics. 
  • Collect regional market feedback and channel insights and feed this into global / North America strategy to influence product roadmap, competitive strategy and channel innovation. 
  • Represent Diasorin externally at key industry events, channel forums, distributor conferences and industry associations. 

 

Qualifications 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare or related field required. MBA or advanced business degree preferred. 

Experience: 

  • Minimum 5-10 years of progressive commercial leadership experience in diagnostics, medical devices, or healthcare services, with at least 3 years in a regional or multi-state leadership role. 
  • Demonstrated success in go-to-market launch and growth of POC or CLIA-waived diagnostics, or adjacent healthcare channel businesses. 
  • Experience managing distribution channels and partner ecosystems at a regional level. 
  • Strong P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, and financial acumen. 
  • Proven ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams in a matrixed, global organization.

  • Strong leader who can motivate teams, develop talent, manage change and build high-performance culture.

  • Comfortable working in a high ambiguity, fast-moving environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders. 
  • Deep understanding of non-acute care settings and willingness to travel extensively across the region as required. 

 

Key Success Metrics 

  • Achievement of regional revenue, growth, market-share and profitability targets for non-acute POC channel. 
  • Growth in number, strength and performance of distributor / channel partners in the region. 
  • Successful regional launch and adoption of new POC products in target non-acute segments. 
  • Partner and customer satisfaction scores and feedback. 
  • Contribution of regional market insights to the North America/global strategy and product roadmap.

What we offer:The hiring range for this position is $171,292 - $221,673 annually. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. Beyond base salary, Diasorin offers a competitive rewards package focused on your overall well-being.
