Job Scope
The Cloud Connectivity Development Engineer will support the definition, development and launch of the Instrument Cloud platform for all Diasorin Systems.
Will also provide their contribution to ensure that the regular running and the required post launch operations can work according to the standards defined by the level of service expected by internal as well external customers and users.
Will contribute to collect inputs from all stakeholders and transform them in requirements for the developers.
Will support the Lead as a technically point of reference for cloud related topics.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the Design and development of software platform for diagnostics instrumentation data collection and analysis.
- Collaborate with third party development teams
- Review and update software specifications and design details derived from user requirements.
- Define technical documentation needs related to the cloud platform under development or maintenance.
- Contribute actively to troubleshoot software.
- Investigate on anomalous and/or uncommon situations.
- Edit, review, and manage software verification/validation/unit test plans and protocols.
- Interact with the Instrument Software development areas within the Team in order to investigate the feasibility of proposed implementations and solutions.
- Interact with other Company functions, to provide team’s expertise and support to problem solving.
- Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System, the Company Policies, and the Corporate Procedures.
- Responsible for performing assigned tasks in accordance with applicable safety regulations and instructions, as well as correcting unsafe work habits and practices and/or bringing to the attention of the supervisor any practice or condition that may be detrimental to the safety and health of the employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering of Computing Systems
Experience:
- 1-3 year experience in software testing
- Experience in software programming is a plus
- Previous experience in Cloud solution design and development is highly appreciated
Technical Competencies:
- Applied knowledge of computing systems and software structure.
- Knowledge of Cloud Platform is desired (Azure))
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity principles for secure coding approach are desirable
- Understanding of computing systems, software architecture, data structures and algorithms
- Good use of Microsoft Office package.
- Test software applications and systems
- Create specifications documentation, manuals and detailed sets of instructions
